Ingredients:
2/3 lb of hamburger
½ teaspoon paprika or Poivron rouge or Pimenton De La Vera.
½ teaspoon of cumin
¼ teaspoon of ground ginger
½ onion grated
1 tablespoon of cilantro and parsley chopped.
2 tablespoons of harissa.
1 small French baguette roll
1 cup of pickled carrot and daikon (Do Chua), You can buy it from your local Banh Mi store.
1 tablespoon of cilantro leaves for garnish.
1 hardboiled egg (cook for 5 minutes then shock in ice water), peeled and sliced.
Directions:
Combine all the spices, one tablespoon of Harissa, the grated onion, chopped cilantro and parsley. Mix all in the bowl with the hamburger. Roll the hamburger into the shape of breakfast sausages. Cook the hamburger on high heat with a little of olive oil for about four minutes. Slice the baguette roll to make the sandwich. Spread the Harissa on the baguette, add the hamburger, the sliced hard boiled egg, top with the pickled carrots and daikon radish and garnish with cilantro leaves.
