Branzino Marinated with | Harissa

Branzino Marinated with | Harissa

1 Mediterranean Branzino fish whole (1 lb to 1.5 lbs)

 4 ozs Harissa

 ½ red onion sliced

1/2 jalapeno pepper sliced

 1 lemon sliced

 1 small bunch of cilantro

 ½ tablespoon of sea salt

½ tablespoon of ground black pepper

 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Put the fish in a pan and spread the Harissa on the fish, season with salt and pepper the whole fish inside out. Drizzle the olive oil on the fish. Stuff the inside of the fish with onions, cilantro and sliced lemons. Garnish with the rest of the lemons and sliced jalapeno peppers. Turn the broiler in the oven on and broil for 5 minutes on one side and another five minutes on the other side. But you have to keep an eye on it, so that it does not burn.  This dish is called a fish tagine and it is specifically a Tangier specailty called Tagra.  B’Saha, Bon appetit !
