Picholine du Languedoc olives are almond-shaped, light green olives grown in many parts of Morocco, especially near Marrakech, Beni Mellal, and Kellat Sraghna. Ours are grown in well-established groves at the base of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, where fertilizers and pesticides are unnecessary. The olives are hand-picked, separated by size, and cured in sea salt. They have a meaty texture and satisfying crunch, which releases their buttery olive flavors and fruity, floral aroma and taste.
Culinary Uses Picholine du Languedoc olives are an excellent tapa or cocktail olive. They are also versatile as a cooking ingredient and bring rich, buttery flavor to chicken, lamb, and fish dishes.
